When imagining how in the world this dark and dirty wall could become a entrance to the new space it was tough. I have an imagination like a child and even I could not visualize how this could happen.
This wall that I could not wrap my creative brain around was also the one step in the construction phase that made me the most excited for the new space. The day I walked in and saw glass, the light shinning through the glass was the day my eyes flooded with tears.
It brought up all the feelings of: this crazy journey was actually happening!, we were creating a new space, and excitement of all the transformation that was to come.

When you are given lemons ??? Make lemonade
1.5 years ago, we were told Market Mall had been bought by a new company and we were going to be loosing our current spaces. I spent days crying, screaming (sure did), days and hours driving around looking at different leases, buildings, my dad flew home to help me do the same. Many other business changes followed—which eventually led to us creating a new name We Move SK and adding new classes to our rooster.
I never imagined I would build brand new new studios in a mall I already had two working studios in but we are doing it!!! We are taking this space and we are going to transform it into a space I always dreamed of. We are creating a space for families to move in, socialize in, educate themselves in and so much more.
We have two full construction teams and two general contractors working around the clock to create this space quicker than anyone could have ever imagined. Follow our social media pages to see progress and let us bring you along with us on this journey.???
I have a family who have challenged me in this choice (for good reasons) and given me 3000% of their support to continue to live out my dreams of building a space and I am forever grateful??. I could have never done any of this with out the support of my team! Jumping in and covering my classes, continuing to learn so we can bring new offerings to our new space, shoulders to cry on, brains to bounce ideas off of, and so much more.

Official move in date is May 15th, 2019. We cannot wait to see you in the new transformed space.
What is Show & Share?
It’s a chance for our parents to see what their children have learned in our Ballet/Jazz, Hip Hop, and Acro classes! Our students have been working on body awareness, musicality and rhythm, quality of movement, and memorization, and they can’t wait to show you!
We Move SK has chosen to provide dance education without requiring additional costume and recital fees, which means that instead of a year-end recital, we do Show & Share!
Our last week of classes runs Saturday December 15th to Friday December 21st. During the last week of classes (unless you have been emailed with an alternative date), we will invite parents to come inside the studio to watch the last 15 minutes of their child’s regular class time.
For example, if your child is in the Wednesday 5:00-5:45 pm dance class, their Show & Share will take place Wednesday December 19th at 5:30-5:45 pm.
Can I bring grandparents? Yes! Bring any guests you like. Just know that guests will be required to stand for the whole Show n Share presentation and that there is limited space in the studio.
Do I need to buy a ticket? No! It’s free!
Does my child need to wear a costume? No costumes required! Feel free to dress them up however you like. Fancy or casual.

Laura Turnbull is one of our instructors at We Move. She teaches Zumba®, Conditioning, Move with Me, Dance and can often be seen at the studio helping out in whatever way she can!
What was the first class you taught? Zumba®! I’ve been teaching since 2011 for Kelly!
What do you like about teaching? I love a lot of things! We Move is such a friendly and personable place. I love the energy everyone brings to the classes! It makes teaching that much better! I love what I do and wouldn’t change it for the world.
Favourite class to teach? I’m gonna have to go with Zumba®! Being a dancer myself, this class has always been a fav. of mine.
Favourite class to take? Zumba® wins again!
Class you want to try? Super excited for Acro Yoga!
What do you do outside of We Move? Dance and travel the world! I’ve been so lucky and have gotten to travel the world, while doing what I am most passionate about.
Leggings or shorts? Tough choice. In the summer, for sure shorts, but in winter, I live in leggings.
Coffee or tea? French vanilla!
Favourite non-fitness related activity? Soaking up all the warm weather at a lake!
Favourite food? I feel like chicken in general because you can make so many delicious meals with it! I also love a good Greek salad. Added by Kelly: Laura would not say no to the following….5 cents candies (although they aren’t 5 cents anymore), a timbit or two, chips, popcorn…basically anything that tastes AMAZING.
Favourite love-hate fitness move? Definitely the squat. Always workin’ for a great booty #feeltheburn
Dream travel destination? Do I have to pick one? Australia, Bali, Bahamas….too many to name.
What’s one thing you always bring with you to the studio? I bring many things to the studio all the time, but I always have my runners and a water bottle.
Morning or night time workout? 100% night time workout. I am not a morning person ahaha
Guilty pleasure? Binge watching all the dance shows and Law and Order:SVU
Favourite health professional to visit? MASSAGE for sure. I have gone to one for years and she always makes me feel like a new person.
Favourite genre of music? I don’t love a particular style. I love a lot of songs and genres. Only genres I’m not a fan of are heavy metal and country (I know, I know)
Funniest teaching/work story: I have so many good memories working for Kelly, I couldn’t pick one.

Your instructor will carefully explain each stretch exercise so you understand how it works and why it’s so important to your overall fitness. Ever wondered what really goes on in a Conditioning class at We Move?
If you are ready to add some variety to your workout routine, then Conditioning is for you! This class is designed to build strength and overall fitness. We train in many different ways: TRX, Kettlebells, resistance training, kick boxing, circuits, and much more.
Along with your amazing workout, you will enjoy the benefits of working out in a social setting while getting away from treadmill boredom. We train a different way each class, keeping your brain and body constantly challenged in new ways.
All fitness levels are welcome. Pre and postnatal clients are welcome.

Funny quirk: I’m the only one (I think) on the staff that is not dance trained so I hate pointing my toes, feels weird!

Favourite health professional to visit? Right now? My acupuncturist is completely awesome, such great energy, I just want to hang out with her all the time!
