  • Has performed opera and musical theatre from coast to coast in Canada (over 35 shows!)
  • 1st place in Manitoba Music Festival Provincials (Canadian Class and Senior Vocal class)
  • SSHRC Scholar in Masters Program for research on Richard Strauss

What inspired me to teach?

I’ve been teaching private singing lessons for nearly a decade and absolutely love my job. As a mom to two little boys, I have become really excited about opportunities to kickstart their musical development and fell in love with the Music Together program at We Move!

Why do I teach?

I teach music because I love sharing my passions for singing and dancing with others. It’s so inspiring to see the next generation engage in something so meaningful with so much joy!

I once subbed in for Saskatoon Opera’s school tour when their leading soprano got sick… I had 3 hours notice and sang offstage while the other performer did the blocking!
