Strength & Tumbling with a Grown-up In this class the grown-up (parent, caregiver, adult or guardian) assists and participates with the child as they bond, strengthen, work on motor skill development, and overall body awareness. Strength & Tumbling with a Grown-up is an introduction to tumbling including floor skills, partner tricks, movement patterns and basic rhythm patterns. Using the concept of animals, colours and other age-appropriate themes to understand movement, stay engaged and have fun together.
Assisted somersaults, upside-down poses, and foot-in-hand balances are some examples of skills and tricks you and your child will learn together! The instructor will carefully explain proper techniques and alignment necessary to complete tricks safely and offer modifications when necessary to grow your and your child’s physical awareness.
